„Experts made a selection out of 45 performances of contemporary Slovak and world drama that have been premiered in 2014. ´There is an increase in adaptations of prose, in last season we noted their boom. It´s not about courage or cowardice to stage new plays, I think there´s still enough of them. Theatres have already recognized that contemporary plays have a place in their repertoire,´said Dária Fojtíková Fehérová, programme manager of the festival.“

Jena Opoldusová: Hrať súčasných autorov sa oplatí, nesúvisí to s odvahou In Pravda, roč. 25, č. 105, s 40 (09.05.2015)

„Regardless the fact whether offered performances move the audience or leave them insecure and puzzled over the staged form, it´s necessary to say that New Drama Festival is surely one of the most interesting and the most progressive showcases on the menu in this area. “

„The godmother of the festival is Dea Loher, prominent German playwright. The Theatre Institute managed to publish a collection of translations of her plays that will be presented during the festival as well. “
